Titanium Porcelain Crown

A titanium porcelain crown is a type of metal-ceramic restoration with an internal framework made from a nickel–chromium–titanium alloy containing approximately 8%–10% titanium. The metal framework is covered with an aesthetic porcelain layer, such as Ceramco 3, Noritake, or Vison, to create a shape and shade that closely resemble natural teeth.

This type of crown is commonly used in restorative dentistry because of its good durability, stable resistance to chewing forces, and relatively affordable cost. Compared with conventional metal-ceramic crowns, titanium porcelain crowns offer better biocompatibility, reduced oxidation in the oral environment, and suitability for a wide range of dental restoration cases.
